One of the problems with a short term warranty is you might not even use that toner during the warranty period. In addition, many of the internet discounters make it extremely difficult to actually return the defect for replacement or refund. Generally speaking you really want to see a minimum of six months on a remanufactured toner warranty which practically insures that you will get the true value you paid for, namely an excellent performing product at a greatly reduced price over that of a “new” Brand Name product.

The very best warranties are offered by remanufacturers who know they make a great product. The absolute best remanufacturing warranties last up to one year and your supplier will exchange the defect within a day or two paying for the return shipping out of their own pocket. That isn’t to say that there won’t be defects. Some of the cartridges are extremely difficult to rebuild and may have a slightly higher percentage of defects than an easier cartridge. However, purchasing from a reliable source with an excellent warranty insures that you maximize the value of your reduced cost purchase which is a major selling point of purchasing remanufactured toner cartridges.

If the car doesn’t meet the standards the dealer will not sell it, it is wholesaled to other dealers and ends up another, less rigorous dealer lot. The ‘certified’ car is re-sold with an extended warranty to enhance the buyers protection and assurance of quality, as well as to guarantee the performance.

That means the factory is certified for best manufacturing procedures and passes rigorous certifications on a regular basis.
